Today there are six clay target fields. Five of the fields accommodate either skeet or trap. In its current configuration, our club has five (5) fields for skeet and one (1) dedicated to trap.
In addition, Tulsa Gun Club has a SASS (Cowboy Action) town with 7 stages and growing. This is one of the first attractions you’re sure to notice as you enter the facility. There are plans for 14 other stages in the works. The Cowboy Action area is surrounded by large steel “Wagon Wheels” which fence in the area.
Just opposite the SASS area is a 4-station archery range, also under development. There are static stations at 5, 10, 15 and 20 yards. Plans are underway to increase the value of this area by adding tree stands and 3D targets.
Our clubhouse was built long ago by the Boy Scouts of America. Although updated, its stone structure and large fireplace still retain the nostalgic “cabin in the woods” feel. It provides year-round comfort whether enjoying conversation with fellow club members, attending a large event or just taking a break.
Each new member wishing to use the pistol range is required to attend a Safety Orientation meeting prior to using the range. These meetings are held every Sunday at 2:00 PM at the clubhouse.
Just a reminder that it is the reponsibility of each member, when bringing a guest, to ensure that they understand and follow TGC safety rules.
