The Tulsa Gun Club and Sports World are Proud Sponsers of the New Shooters Clinic

Are you a new or unexperienced or even experienced shooter who wants to learn more about handling your firearm – or perhaps wants to learn more about the fun and excitment of target shooting? If so then the TGC Shooters Clinic is the place for you. Youth Shooters are strongly encouraged to attend.

The TGC shooters clinic is held on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the TGC lodge facility. Cost is $10.00 per student which covers lesson materials, paper and clay targets. Pre-Registration is strongly encouraged - Please do so by the 2nd Saturday of the month. - please contact Rich Pounds at (918) 272-0262.

From our qualified instructors you will learn -

Firearm and range safety

Basic Shotgun and Pistol Target Shooting Techniques

Shooting Etiguette (Trap, Skeet and Pistol)

Overview of Competitive and FUN Shooting Opportunities

WHAT TO BRING

All shooters should bring thier Pistols, Shotguns, and Ammunition. (Shotgun shell size should not exceed 7.5). If you do not have a firearm, please let us know in pre-registration so we may provide you one to you.

Eye and Ear protection are required at all times. (we have a limited amount of shooting glasses available – 1st come, 1st serve)

Be prepared to shoot 50 rounds of pistol ammunition, and 2 boxes of shotgun ammo. (not provided by club)

Note: Shotgun ammo sizing must be 7.5, 8, or 9.

DIRECTIONS

Take Hwy 169 to 56th St. N exit. Go west on 56th St. N approx 1 mile. Turn South on Mingo Road(1 Block) then head West on Mohawk Blvd (1/2 mile) to the sign and entrance on the South Side.

From Hwy North or South take 56th St N Exit and go East 3.5 miles till you see the sign on the South Side of the road.
